Holly’s House recognises that many parents find it difficult to find a regular, reliable babysitter and hence restricts when you can go out. Our evening babysitting service allows you to book a babysitter with the knowledge that your child is being looked after by a reliable child carer, many of whom are qualified nannies, teachers & nursery nurses.
Our babysitters undergo the same registration process and vetting as our nannies.
Holly’s House offers two forms of membership for using our evening babysitting service. The first is designed for those families planning to use the service only a couple of times a year. In this instance you pay a booking fee each time one of our babysitters sits for you. The other is for those wishing to book a babysitter on a more regular basis. In this instance you can join for a one off fee on an annual or quarterly basis. During your membership there is no limitation to the number of times you book a babysitter.
When you decide that you wish to book a babysitter we do request that you can give us at least 48 hours notice. We ask for this much notice as the majority of our sitters work full time and are often not contactable during working hours. If you wish to book a babysitter for a Saturday night at least a week’s notice would be preferable. You can book the dates you require a babysitter up to 2 months in advance. Once we have been given the dates you require a babysitter we will confirm who will be sitting for you.
The babysitter must be paid in full, at the end of the evening.
Please note that this service is for evening babysitting only (i.e. after 6.30pm) and our babysitters will charge you a minimum fee of 3 hours even if your requirements are for less time than this.

Our babysitters will charge you a fee of £6.00 per hour before midnight and £7.00 per hour after midnight.
If you require a babysitter at a venue outside your own home e.g. hotel the hourly rate is £7.00 before midnight and £8.00 after midnight.
